Introduction

Woongoed Middelburg Foundation rents social housing in the municipality of Middelburg. For their employees, reliable mobility is indispensable. Every day, they use one of the three electric cars or take one of the six shared bicycles to make home visits, carry out inspections and prepare repairs. This allows them to serve residents quickly and efficiently.

The challenge

Before cooperating with WeGo, Woongoed Middelburg used a system in which vehicles could be opened with a tag. In practice, this regularly caused problems: colleagues would get into a car without a reservation, causing confusion. Reserving vehicles and bicycles was also cumbersome via an Outlook calendar. Key management was also ineffective, which often led to the wrong keys or bicycles being taken.

The organization therefore began looking for a modern, secure and user-friendly system that could not only handle reservations and trip registration, but would also reduce the administrative burden.

The solution

WeGo offered the total solution Woongoed Middelburg was looking for. Employees can now easily reserve a car or bike through the platform and unlock it directly via their phone, without using a key. This prevents vehicles from being used without a reservation and makes key management unnecessary. In addition, WeGo’s help desk provides immediate support for any questions or problems, giving extra security.

The implementation went smoothly without any notable issues. The cooperation was experienced by Woongoed as close and pleasant.

The result

Since the switch to WeGo, the possibility of abuse or confusion has completely disappeared: a vehicle can only be used if a reservation has actually been made. This provides peace of mind, clear oversight, and ease of use for both employees and the organization.
